As you may already know the most common type of ad used in Adsense is “cost per click” (CPC), and there are 2 parameters that your earnings depend on:

• The rate that advertiser set for a single click on the ad.
• How many times the users clicked on this single ad on your site.

• Display
• In-feed
• In-article
• Matched content
• Search engine

By experimenting, I have found out that there are higher click through rates with native in-article ads. They may give you higher revenue so don't forget to try it.

You can also try Matched Content if you have another content you’d like to promote.
Also you can use Auto ads by Google.
They use machine learning to place the ads on the portions of your website where it would automatically give you more money.
